I'm John David Macarubbo, full stack developer from Manila.

I've been creating web applications for several years now, delivering value to various organizations ranging from small businesses, to medium and large ones across multiple countries.

From multiple industries like safety, telecommunications, agriculture, and travel services, I've been making and maintaining projects in various degrees; from simple automation scripts, legacy codebases, proof-of-concept (POC) and greenfield ones.

When I'm away from my workstation, I usually spend my time training in the gym. Bodybuilding and boxing has been my lifestyle for the past few years and has helped me improve in terms of confidence, focus, and discipline.

I also spend a lot of time hanging out with friends if I can. The pandemic taught me that life is too short not to make memorable moments with loved ones.
